Halloween 2008

So this Halloween I have 3 beautiful princesses, hulk, spiderman, batman, a monster bride, and a regal princess(whatever that means)lol. Well we are back from trick or treating and I am very tired. The kids did great at walking and staying out of the street. We didn't do many houses since last year we got like 10lbs of candy and I didn't want that in the house this year. Sorry it has taken so long to keep up with this blog. I have been having computer issues. I will try harder to keep it updated better.

ZOO trip

We finally went to the zoo. The kids have been asking all summer, but I hate to be out in the heat with 8 kids. They had no school on Friday due to an inservice day so I called my mom and told her we were picking her up to go to the zoo. I didn't take the stroller or a wagon. The kids did great walking, we only stayed about 3 hours. I told them we would go back again to walk around the other part we missed. They were so excited to see the animals, Rileigh was a bit sad because there was no panda bear. The other day we were watching the news and the kids seen the part where the polar bear got ahold of a lady at some zoo and held her against the cage while biting her leg. So the kids were kinda freaked out about going to the zoo and kept asking if the animals were gonna bite there legs. I was telling them no the zoo has gates and that lady got to close. The funny part was when we were walking around the zoo and I said oh come here to see the polar bears and some were like no way we don't want our legs bite. It is so funny that they can remember EVERYTHING that happens and I can't remember what we have for dinner. Here are some pictures from the zoo.

Poor Madison

Today is the 4th day the monkeys been in school and here is 2 pictures of Madison. She was outside playing on the playground. They have metal climbers. Well I guess she slipped and fell and hit her head on the bar. OUCH Poor girl.

1st day of school

So I finally got the pictures of the 1st day of school uploaded on the computer. I know I am a slacker, but I have 8 kids to blame it on. Hannah is in 3rd grade this year and not liking all the homework. Abigail is in the 1st grade and she loves it and has a great time. The monkeys are in their second year of pre-k, but at a different school this year and they are getting along real nice. They can't wait to wake up every morning for school.

Rainbow Ranch

Rainbow Ranch Playdate.

On Thursday we went on a playdate with some other MOMMES members to the Rainbow Ranch. It was a petting zoo in Nashville, IL. Farmer Allen was super nice to teach us about all his animals. We played with the George Triplets, The Kohlor Triplets, The Ashauer Triplets, and a set of twins. We had a large group for the farmer to entertain. There were new baby pigs, a pregnant Zebra due next month, sheep's, horses, mini horses, camels, cats, dogs, 100 pound rabbits, smaller rabbits, chickens, and tons more. The kids loved it and had a great time walking around for 2 hours in POO. Bella was not going in the gate, she was freaking out. The goats kept coming up and chewing on our clothes, so she was almost to my neck. She finally got better and had fun with the rest of the kids. Thank God cuz I was sure tired of her clawing me up. Fun times.
