Flood water & swimming(yuck)

Our yard is flooded again. It is like knee deep or higher on the kids. I was at my wits end yesterday trying to keep the kids out of the mud and water, so I finally gave in and said go jump in I don't care anymore. It was either they get in the water or I kill them. So here are the gross pictures of the whole thing. They were so nasty and the clothes were brown, but they had a blast.

Build-A-Bear

We went to Build-A-Bear today with the pre-k teachers. How fun was it for us to see and hang out with our teachers again. The teachers gave the monkeys Build A Bear gift cards for their birthdays and wanted to go with us to watch and help out. Thanks again to all the teachers that got the gift cards and came to help. You ladies are AWESOME. I am so sad the monkeys will be going to a different school next year, but we will still have to come for a visit so the kids can see their first teachers. Also thanks for taking such great care of the kids. Ok so here are the pictures from Build A Bear, some are weird looking cuz they were moving around the whole time.

My Kindergarten Grad 08

Last night was Abigail's Graduation from kindergarten. She acted so shy. We got her an ice cream cake for after we got home. We are so proud of her, she is a good student and listens to teacher. She does a great job at reading, now the writing need work because she doesn't take her time to make it nice. So now I can say 2 down 6 to go.

I know, I know

I know I haven't posted in a few days, but it has been crazy here with all this rain. We haven't been able to go outside much so we are having cabin fever. Of course now school is out for the monkeys and they have been sleeping in, so now they aren't wanting to nap. That will not be happening I can tell you now. By time 4:00pm comes around I am ready to KILL. They totally have to keep napping to survive. lol Joking, Don't freak out and call the police I wont kill anyone. OK so to update everyone on the days I haven't posted. Saturday, Abigail was supposed to have a T-ball game at 9am, but they changed it to 4pm. We went to London(friend from church) birthday party at a park, we still weren't feeling real well but had fun. Sunday, Mother's day was good we went to Church and the monkeys colored me pictures for Mother's day and the big girls made me tissue paper flowers. Very cute. I got a rose from Church for being a Mom. We went to pizza hut for lunch since the kids got a free pizza for reading books, they love getting their own pizzas. Later that evening Ron took me out to dinner, it was very peaceful. Monday, we just played in the house in the morning with the big girls toy that they never get to touch(they were at school), after lunch Grandma came and watched the monkeys so I could go to the doctor. When I got home we road bikes and played outside and took a walk. No nap so I was ready to get these guys in bed. Talk about CRABBY the kids were too. lol So now for today, it is raining AGAIN so no outside, but I guess it is ok cuz I need to clean the house. I have the teachers coming tomorrow for a home visit, the kids are so excited to see the teachers again. I hope they wont become strangers. Tonight I have a dinner with the MOMMES(multiples group) I can't wait to eat hot food with out having to share. We are going to TGIFridays. YUMMY. Ok so enough posting for today. No pictures sorry.

Strep throat & Water

All 6 of my monkeys have strep throat, so that means no school picnic today. Poor kids. The doctor got us some meds so hopefully by tonight we will feel better. Madison is really the only one complaining of a sore throat, the others could care less. They are the same running and screaming monkey like everyday.
On another note, I sure wish this rain would stop because our yard looks like Otten Lake. All we need is a small boat and some fish. I was going to post some pictures of the yard, but Ron took the camera to show the water company and make some complaints. If any of you know Ron he loves to make complaints. I will post some pictures of the yard later when he gets back with the camera.
Hannah and Abbie have their school picnic today also. I sure hope the rain stays away so they can have a fun time. The school really goes all out on games and rides. The kids always have a great time before school is over. They will soon be out of school and I am not real sure what I will do with all the fighting and yelling. I'm sure we will be swimming alot.

No field trip for us

Ok so we didn't make it to the field trip today. The kids were up ALL night whining about legs hurting or coughing. Joshua was up all night complaining his tummy was hurting. He was coughing and trying to throw-up. Poor guy, it was horrible. He hasn't ate or drink much all day. I don't know if he had a reaction to the shots or what happen. Besides the field trip we were supposed to go to the Riverbend Bounce to play with the MOMMES group and we can't even do that. I hate to share sick germs. Oh well I guess we will just have to go to Grants Farm another time in the summer. No pictures again today, but soon I will be adding then(new born) and now pictures so everyone can see how we have grown.
I know I haven't posted anything about Hannah and Abigail yet, but they are doing well. Excited to get out of school for the summer and get to swimming. I will post some pictures of the big girls too.

Last day at school for the monkeys

Ok so today was the last day at school and boy oh boy the kids were all crazy. I stayed at school to help out the teachers withe the kids and any cleaning they needed done. I guess they all knew it was the last day so they didn't have to listen to nothing. I was ready to spank more kids than I usually do. Well thankfully it was only 2 1/2 hours. After school I had to get the monkeys home feed them and go pick up the big girls because all kids had a doctors check-up. I was informed that now kids can get their kindergarten shots at age 4 so the question was do I want them to get their 4 shots today and I said sadly " why wait sure". So I had 6 very sad little monkeys, but they are done with shots till age 10 I think she said, except for flu shots. I was just thinking of all the things I will have to do before kindergarten so not having to find the extra time to get shots done is a good thing, right? I don't have pictures for today, but tomorrow is the field trip so I should have pictures with the next post about Grants Farm.

The kids have not clue what to think about the last day, but they are going to miss the teachers and their friends. We have one more day on Tuesday then a field trip on Wednesday and that is it for this year. The big girls have school till the 19th of May so I will have some time with the monkeys before they get out. I will post some pictures of the monkeys at school

Monkeys b-day party

This is new to me, but I want to make a blog to keep family and friends up to date on the kids. I am not real sure what I am doing, but I will try. I am going to post some pictures of the birthday party. I hope this all works.
